Dr. Sarang Ingole is a Diagnostic and Interventional Radiologist with over 15 years of experience in advanced medical imaging, ultrasound, vascular imaging, image-guided interventions, and artificial intelligence (AI) in radiology. 

Qualifications-

Dr. Ingole completed his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the prestigious Topiwala National Medical College and B.Y.L. Nair Hospital, Mumbai. He subsequently pursued a Diploma in Medical Radio Diagnosis (DMRD) at Indira Gandhi Government Medical College, Nagpur, followed by the highly competitive Diplomate of National Board (DNB) in Radiodiagnosis at Saifee Hospital, Mumbai, one of India’s renowned centres for advanced radiology training.
To further specialise in minimally invasive therapies, he completed a Fellowship in Vascular and Interventional Radiology (FVIR) at the esteemed Seth G.S. Medical College and King Edward Memorial (KEM) Hospital, Mumbai. During this fellowship, he received advanced training in vascular interventions, image-guided procedures, angiography, angioplasty, embolisation, tumour ablation, and emergency interventional radiology.
He has also completed advanced certification in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, enabling him to integrate cutting-edge AI technologies into clinical radiology practice.

Professional Experience

Throughout his career, Dr. Ingole has worked at several leading tertiary care hospitals and academic institutions across India, gaining extensive experience in both diagnostic and interventional radiology.At Sahyadri Superspeciality Hospital, Pune, he served as a full-time Consultant Interventional Radiologist, performing a wide range of complex vascular and non-vascular image-guided procedures, including angiography, balloon angioplasty, stenting, embolisation, biopsies, drainages, and vascular access procedures. He managed dedicated Interventional Radiology clinics and collaborated closely with vascular surgeons, oncologists, nephrologists, and other specialists to deliver multidisciplinary patient care.During this period, he also conducted clinical research comparing VenaSeal™ and Endovenous Laser Ablation (EVLA) for the treatment of varicose veins, demonstrating superior early quality-of-life outcomes with VenaSeal.

Previously, as Assistant Professor of Radiology at Indira Gandhi Government Medical College, Nagpur, Dr. Ingole established the institution’s dedicated Interventional Radiology Unit. He performed a wide range of vascular and non-vascular interventions, supervised postgraduate radiology training, and played a key role in expanding advanced imaging and interventional radiology services.

Dr. Ingole later served as Medical Director at CARPL.ai, a global radiology artificial intelligence company. In this leadership role, he directed the clinical evaluation, validation, deployment, and post-deployment monitoring of AI solutions used by healthcare institutions worldwide. His experience at the intersection of medicine and technology places him at the forefront of integrating artificial intelligence into clinical practice while ensuring that technology enhances—rather than replaces—expert medical judgement.
